A FINISH....WELL ALMOST!

As I told you before I have been very busy stitching away. I had nothing to show you until now. Everything that I have been working on is for Christmas. This is a stitchery from Crab-Apple Hill ( for Christmas) for a friend that doesn't have a blog and doesn't read them! (Can you believe that there is still someone out there that doesn't at least read them?) Well anyway I have the stitchery completed. The frame is just sitting on the fabric. I still need to frame it. So it is almost finished! I enjoyed this project. I used a green patterned fabric and Weeks overdyed floss. I hope she likes it as much as I do.

Last week I was reading some of my favorite blogs and I came across one that showed a picture of her first quilting project. I have been thinking about my first project. To be honest I have to think a little longer about which one was first. When I remember I will show a picture of it. Do you remember your first project? Do you have a picture of it? I would love to see them. Have a great week everyone. I will chat soon.

Pat

My first project will never see light of day. It's horrendous. I've kept it because I made it from sewing projects from my kids! Love your stitchery.

Pat your stitchery is just beautiful, I'm sure your friend will adore it. My first project was a cot quilt for my son ( now 30).
