My bag for Linda's Bag Swap has landed in Australia. It went to live with Bec. I was really sorry to see it leave. I fell in love with it. The pattern is "Ric Rac & Blooms" by Sally Giblin. This is a picture of it just before it flew away. I also made her a little pincushion to match her bag. Go over to Bec's blog and read about her one and only other pincushion. You will also see a better picture of her bag. Thank you Linda for hosting the swap. It was fun and I got to meet a very lovely family. I will chat more very soon.

Beautiful. I'm sure it's in a very happy new home.
Just gorgeous Pat, I know Becky is thrilled with it. So glad you enjoyed the swap.
Your bag for Bec is beautiful, I can see why you had problems to part with it!
What a beautiful bag!
Such a darling bag, the embroidery just makes it extra special.
Your bag is lovely! You did a wonderful job. I can see why it would be hard to part with it! :O)
Thanks so much Pat! I have been adoring this bag ever since it's arrival and only yesterday put it to use! It is taking care of some Butterfly Fling fabrics which I will be using in the future to make two quilts for my daughters. I have been using the pin cushion; it is so great to have two!

That is probably THE most beautiful bag project I've seen in blogland. I'd be sad to see it go too!
How are things in the NOrth Country? things here are getting chilly -- FINALLY!
Love that bag and the pillow/pin cushion. Makes me want to get my stuff back out and start sewing!
I'm a bit late with my comment but wanted to tell you the bag you made is gorgeous and the sweet little pincushion too.
