Thank You!

I would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers for my sister. I have not been blogging because we have been very busy here. We have been off for tests, scans, blood work, xrays, more tests, Dr. appointments, a biopsy and a month of waiting and many sleepless nights. But no more! Yesterday we found out some bad but good news. She does have Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It is cancer, but one of the easiest forms to treat and with the best results. We are all very thankful. Again thank you for the kind comments and the e-mails. They were appreciated very much. I will chat soon.

Hugs
Pat

Thanks for your comment on my Bloom quilt- the fabric I used for the quilt is Allspice Tapestry by Fig Tree for Moda. The aqua is a small print that has tiny white dragon flies on it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister, what a difficult time you must be going through. Really, best of l luck with the times ahead. She is lucky to have a sister who cares so much.

Well although it's not good news, it's good that it's one of the easiest to treat. God hears our prayers and is always faithful to answer.

Hi Pat - thanks for dropping by and commenting on my plaid/stitchery quilt. The husband of a girl we used to live round the corner of had NHL and was told the recovery was good but he'd probably not increase his familty from the two they had - their third son Ollie was the surprise package after his treatment finished and he's now the same age as my eldest (almost 16) and Dad's still going strong - hope the outlook for your sister is even better

I'm sorry that you and your family are going through this difficult time. That is good news that it is treatable. My sister in law's dad had that kind, and that was over 20 years ago. I will keep your sister and your family in my prayers.

Hi Pat!

Thanks for your sweet note at my blog. We're doing well, I guess.

Today is "recovery" mode, and tomorrow begins "waiting" mode. It really is all good.....but I'll be glad to get the final word.

I've been thinking about your sister, and you. Today--at the hospital, I had my mom and aunt with me. Family support is so important.

Take care. Stay warm and dry -- are you guys getting that awful weather, too?
