My Pincushions from Chantal!

The faster I go, the be hinder I get!!!! Almost two weeks ago I received a beautiful package from Chantal in Belgium. I saw this lovely pincushion on several blogs and had admired it each and every time I saw it. I was extremely pleased when I opened my package and found that now, I am the very proud owner of the lovely pincushion too. I would like to share what Chantal sent me.

I love it. I love the fabric that she used. It is larger than I thought it was and that is great! She also sent along a lovely card and three more pincushions. She was afraid that she had not sent enough!!! (Silly girl.)

There was a pincushion to put on my wrist which is very handy. One that is in the shape of a cute little flower that I can keep right in my stitching bag. The last one is something that I am scared to death of, a mouse! But so far we are getting along just fine. I named him Mighty. Thank you again Chantal I love everything.

I will chat soon because I have a lot to show and tell.

Pat I love what you received in the pincushion swap.
The jumbo pincushion looks really useful and how sweet of your partner to send the others as well.
What a happy exchange.

I made myself one of those pincushions, it is great for hand quilting thread and balances great on the sofa arm when I quilt in the living room with DH!

How ingenious. Love the pincushions. I like that saying too. When I grew up in PA Dutch country the saying was similar "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get". Love that and its fairly true!

That is such a CUTE pincushion. I like how you can store your thread in it too. What a nice spoilt feeling : )
